DAY 1: CASABLANCA – MEKNES – VOLUBILIS – FES:

Today we pick up you and we’ll explore Casablanca’s most interesting places including great Hassan ll Mosque. After lunch we head to to Fez via Volubilis. We will explore Meknes, known as the Ismaili capital of Morocco, then our journey continues to Volubilis, to visit the Roman ruins. We continue to Fez and we stay in local hotel.

DAY 2 : EXPLORING CITY OF FES:

Today we discover Fez, imperial citiy founded by Idriss II. We will visit here the Mosque of the Andalusians, famous tanneries, and also Medina. We will enjoy lunch and then we continue to visit the Medersas, We stay overnight in lcoal hotel/riad.

DAY 3: FES – IFRANE – AZROU – ERFOUD - RISSANI – MERZOUGA DESERT :

Today we’ll leave Fez travelling towards Ifrane, referred to as “the Switzerland of Morocco”, then Midelt and Erfoud along the Ziz valley. Arriving at the dunes of Merzouga Erg Chebbi, accommodation at the Kasbah. stopping for panoramic views along the way. We ride camels about an 1hour and a half to reach desert camp. We spend this night in a nomadic tents in the dunes. Dinner and overnight is at the desert camp.

DAY 5: MERZOUGA DESERT – TODRA GORGES – DADES GORGES

We wake up early in the morning to watch sunrise in desert. After breakfast in the riad, you’ll leave for Rissani, Erfoud and Tinghir. We continue to Todra gorges – the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. After lunch in the heart of the gorge we’ll drive through the Dades Valley. Overnight in Hotel/Riad.

DAY 6: DADES GORGES – OUARZAZATE – AIT BENHADDOU – MARRAKECH

After breakfast we’ll set off through the Dades Valley towards Kalaa M’gouna and Ouarzazate. The route through Dades Valley is the way of the thousand Kasbahs. We’ll stop at Kalaat M’gouna, “the rose city”, to purchase the rosewater. We continue to Skoura and the birds valley; visiting the Kasbah Ameridil. We continue to Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Africa”. Here you may choose to visit the movie studios. Our private Morocco trip will continue through the majestic Tizi n'Tichka Pass over the High Atlas Mountains, before arriving at your hotel in Marrakech.

DAY 7: MARRAKECH GUIDED TOUR

Today we will have guided tour of Marrakech. This tour includes visiting old medina ,famous Mosque - Koutubia, the nearby souk. We explore also Ali Ben Youssef Koranic school, then the Saadian Tombs and the Bahia Palace , Majorelle Gardens. End of the tour. Thank you for booking a tour with Tours Across Morocco.
